Schedule and Word Definitions
Vocab. Chart
Monday - Students will record seven new Tier 2 vocabulary words with definitions. We will discuss etymology and root words (pre-fixes/suffixes) in addition to applying some EBLI syllable and sound part strategies.
Tuesday - Students will compose sentences using each new vocabulary word "in context"
Wednesday - Students will create visual cues for each new word and share these out with small groups.
Thursday - Mr. Teft will present "struggle word(s)" from the previous week. These are defined by less than 60% overall on the quiz. In small groups, students will have an extension activity using the struggle word(s).
Friday - Students will take the quiz.
